Dayton's Strong Community Ties

Dayton's is a family-owned Knoxville pest control company with strong community ties. Owners Dayton and Sheila Hylton and their families are area natives. Dayton is a graduate of Beardon High School and holds a Master's degree in entomology from the University of Tennessee.

As the only pest control company owner in the area who is a degreed entomologist, he collaborates with the University of Tennessee to address pest control issues in Knoxville and supports the university's research efforts.

At Dayton's, one of the ways we measure our success is our ability to give back to the community. As a company, we support a number of social service organizations in the Knoxville area. Dayton Hylton plays a leadership role in the University of Tennessee Sertoma Club, which supports the Second Harvest Food Bank and its mission of alleviating hunger in East Tennessee.
