Dayton's Pest Control Services, Inc. is locally owned and operated by Dayton Hylton, a Knoxville native and graduate of Bearden High School class of 1972. After a life threatning bug bite, received as a youngster, Dayton decided to learn all he could about insect pests, and eventually earned a Master's of Science Degree in Entomology from the University of Tennessee in 1980. You can bet your life that Dayton knows his bugs . . . and also the best ways to eliminate your pest problems.

After graduating from UT Dayton worked for 3 different pest control companies. In 1985, working out of his parents basement and driving a VW Beetle with a foot locker for chemical storage in the back seat, he founded Dayton's Pest Control Services. Today, the company employs eight service technicians and salesmen, 2 secretaries and is located at 4674 Newcom Ave. in West Knoxville (1 block off Kingston Pike and just around the corner from Blair House Antiques). With his dedication for quality service, along with a genuine concern for his customers pest problems, Dayton has grown the business into one of the most respected and well known pest control companies in Knoxville.

Providing quality pest control services to both residential and commercial properties for the past 15 years, Dayton has also maintained active membership in the National Pest Control Association. In addition the company is a member of the Tennessee Pest Control Association, and in 1997 Dayton served as president of The East Tennessee Pest Control Association.

The company is a member of the Better Business Bureau, The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, The Knoxville Home Builders Association, The Greater Knoxville Apartment Council, The Knoxville and Pigeon Forge Hotel-Motel Association, as well as 6 chapters of The Business Network International.

Dayton's is an authorized operator for Termidor Termite Defense and the Sentricon* Colony Elimination System, the "state of the art" in termite control. Current customers include private schools, restaurants, office complexes, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, and numerous private homes.
